Q1 2023 has seen Bowman get out on the road to exhibitions again – the first time it has done so since the reset of the company’s strategy and establishment of the TorqIQ® brand. The objective? To raise awareness of Bowman’s eTurbo Systems in general but also, specifically, to showcase the exciting StartIQ™ product for faster starting of gas and liquid-fueled generator sets.
We attended the Powergen International exhibition in Florida in February. This is the foremost stationary power show in the USA, providing a fantastic opportunity to meet potential customers and partners. While perhaps not the event it once was, it was very valuable for developing general awareness of Bowman and yielded some exciting new leads in Latin America.
Last week, we set out our stall at the Distributed Energy Show, much closer to home, in Telford, UK. This was an important event for us as it was well attended by companies operating peaking generator plants around the UK, for whom we expect StartIQ™ to be a critical capability enabler for future national grid support requirements.
It has been fantastic to be out on the road again with Bowman and I have personally gained a lot from meeting industry partners and stakeholders in doing so. We plan attendance at a number of events during the remainder of the year and will post details of these on our social (LinkedIn etc.) feeds as and when they are confirmed.
